For many years, I lived in the shadows of the roles I played—daughter, mother, wife, friend—always giving, always striving to be what everyone needed. But in the quiet corners of my heart, I was lost, disconnected, and caught in a cycle of pain. My emotions, too heavy to carry, were drowned in antidepressants, while the whispers of my soul were silenced.

In 2013, I answered a call to return home—to myself.
I began a sacred journey, stepping onto the path of Hatha Yoga and chakra healing. What I found there was more than just peace; I found permission to feel, to heal, and to finally see myself clearly.

Spirituality opened the door to deep healing, unraveling the layers of my own pain and the inherited grief of my lineage. It became the bridge that led me back to my truth, my voice, my light.

I was born in Brooklyn, NY to Jamaican parents, and I carry with me the fire of my ancestors. My academic background in Women’s Studies, Political Science, and African Studies, alongside my work as an empathic healer, Self-Love Oracle, and Womb Wisdom Guide, shapes the space I hold for women. A space where fears can be faced, where societal pressures can be released, and where true self-love is awakened.

But this isn’t just about my story — it’s about yours too. The mother who’s tired of overgiving. The guide who’s lost her way. The woman who’s ready to steam, sip, and speak her truth again.

Self Love & Alchemy is a living temple where we blend Caribbean-rooted wisdom with sacred modern tools. From Reiki to bush tea, from womb steam to sound healing — we use ritual, not just reasoning, to guide women home.
