Honoring the Mother Within and Around Us This Mother's Day
Today, we pause to honor the mothers who birthed us, raised us, nurtured us—and the many ways “mothering” shows up in our lives.
Mother's Day is more than a celebration of biological motherhood. It’s a sacred moment to acknowledge the spirit of the Divine Mother—the one who nurtures, protects, and holds space for growth, whether she exists in the form of a parent, a caregiver, a teacher, or even within ourselves.
In our healing journeys, especially in heart and womb healing, the mother wound often lies at the root of our deepest emotions. The way we were mothered—what we received or longed to receive—shapes our capacity to love, to feel safe, and to tend to our inner child.
So today, I invite you to hold a gentle ritual of remembrance, compassion, and reclamation.
🌸 Mother's Day Ritual of the Heart
Light a candle in honor of your mother, or the maternal figures who influenced your path.
Place your hands on your heart and womb. Breathe deeply and say:
“I honor the mother I came from, the mother I am, and the mother I am becoming.”Write a letter—to your mother, to your inner mother, or to the daughter you once were. Let your words be tender, truthful, and healing.
Offer forgiveness where you’re ready, and extend gratitude where it feels true.
Whether you are a mother, long to be one, are grieving one, or are reparenting yourself—your experience is valid, sacred, and worthy of love.
Let us also honor Mother Earth, who nourishes us unconditionally. Let’s remember that mothering energy is not a role—it’s a vibration. It’s how we love, how we care, and how we show up.
From my heart to yours,
Happy Mother’s Day.
May you be held in the warm embrace of love, always.
With love,
Alicia
